Aamir Khan's Satyamev Jayate speaks about organic farming

Agricuture plays an important role in every nation. What happens when this life saving food turns a treat to people? Aamir Khan's Satyamev Jayate's 8th episode, which was aired today dealt about the adverse effect of using pesticide on peoples health and environment in India. 

The show aired a documentary on how a village in Kerala got affected because of using this pesticide in farming. It was shocking to know that these chemicals poisons even mother's milk. Based on a brief research, it is said that women and the newly born children are mainly affected by these harmful pesticides. Aamir interviewed a scientist from Andhra Pradesh who had successfully implemented organic farming in a village, which had created a revolution among the farmer in Andhra. Aamir also said that government should give more support for these farmers to implement organic farming. The actor also said that it is the duty of every citizen to buy those products to lead a healthy life. The show also highlighted that India is the number one nation, in exporting food products through organic farming. Hope, through this show farmers will adapt organic farming and save our nation
